CAPE TOWN PRIDE NEEDS YOU


	PRIDE, an International Brand that has featured on the Gay, Lesbian (LGBTI) Community event calendars World-wide for the past 30 years. Pride is a volunteer run Non-Profit Section 21 Company that annually organises an 10-day Cape Town Pride Festiva.

It is an international fact that the LGBTI market is both affluent and influential - one that increasingly attracts targeted marketing by companies world-wide eager to capitalise on Pink buying-power! On the whole, South African LGBTI individuals are high-yield, trend-setting, brand-conscious, loyal and have ample disposable income.

Cape Town Pride festival has become one of the Premier events on the Cape Town LGBTI social and community calendar. It serves as an opportunity to celebrate our country�s great Constitution with characteristic flair and flamboyance and to make a unique contribution to promoting diversity and tolerance in the Mother City. The 10-day Festival comprises of a host of community-orientated events that are free of charge as well as some exclusive events that attract the high-yield members of the LGBTI community.

The 2011 festival had over 100 000 spectators and participants tacking part in the street parade and had a record number of just under 10 000 people attending the PRIDE after party that was held at the CPT Stadium.
The 2012 festival will take place from the 2nd March � 11th March, with the main parade taking place on the 10th March. The venue for the after party and supporting events will be released at a later date.

CPT Pride would like to invite corporate sponsors to take part in the 2012 event. Opportunities include parade floats, print and online exposure, prize and event sponsorship and not forgetting the main after party.
